Grain Prices Lower Monday With Rain in Forecast
September Minneapolis wheat fell 44 1/2 cents, the largest percentage loser
among Monday's grain contracts after the northwestern Plains received some rain
over the weekend and shows more expected in next week's forecast. December corn
and November soybeans also suffered double-digit losses after rain fell across
the Midwest over the weekend.

July corn closed down 20 1/2 cents and December corn was down 27 1/4 cents.
July soybeans closed down 2 1/4 cents and November soybeans were down 19 1/4
cents. July KC wheat closed down 33 1/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 31
1/4 cents and July Minneapolis wheat was down 44 1/4 cents. The June U.S.
Dollar Index is trading down 0.06 at 90.16. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is
up 123.71 points at 34,901.47. June gold is up $6.70 at $1,838.0, July silver
is down $0.04 at $27.44 and July copper is down $0.0340. June crude oil is down
$0.09 at $64.81, June heating oil is up $0.0030, June RBOB gasoline is up
$0.0021 and June natural gas is down $0.038.
